BSTransfo is proud to partner with Unareti in an important project involving the maintenance, the repair, and the technological innovation of their transformers fleet.
This initiative is part of Unareti’s broader Strategic Plan 2024–2035, which is focused on the values of sustainability, circularity, and innovation.
In recent weeks, and in the presence of Francesco Gerli, Director of the Smart Infrastructures Business Unit and CEO of Unareti, we had the opportunity to present the ongoing activities on a 100 MVA power transformer. Once refurbished, this transformer will once again play a crucial role in powering a central area of the city of Milan.
Our collaboration with Unareti marks a concrete step towards the adoption of advanced monitoring technologies and the implementation of performance-based asset maintenance plans, aiming to ensure efficiency and sustainability across the entire value chain.
During the visit to our facilities, we also discussed the importance of circular economy practices, such as the recovery and reuse of raw materials and the refurbishment of transformers. These practices reflect the shared commitment to sustainability between our two companies.
